Frequently Asked Questions We are not making appointments. Call or email, we ship!
Q. Do you ship? A. Yes, we ship all items large and small -- US and International shipping available. We work with professional freighters for shipments of oversized and delicate items requiring specialty packing.
Q. Why are there no prices on your pictures? A. We don't make our items available to the general public, and we have a large inventory that changes often.
Q. Where do your items come from? A. This is a 50 year collection and continuing. These items came from closed churches, monasteries, convents, and importing from Europe. Hard to find them today, most are from collectors or individuals contacting us.
Q. Do the pictures show all your inventory? A. No, our web site shows an available sampling of an ever changing inventory in our warehouses. We have thousands of items.
Q. Can you send photos of items you don't have online? A. Not typically, we post items online as projects allow.
Q. Are your items restored? A. As antique dealers we know the value of keeping items as untouched and original as possible. Most items are left in their original condition however our conservator makes repairs and adjustments when necessary. Many items we had gold plated or restored over the years. Prices always reflect condition.
Q. Why are some categories not purchasable individually? A. We reserve those items for churches doing large projects, and are shown on our site so parishes know we sometimes have access to those types of items - we don't keep those sections regularly updated or sell them. Older versions of these are difficult to find, yet often necessary, and don't have many to go around.
Q. Will you hold items we're interested in? A. Items are sold on a first serve basis, and we're unable to hold items for more than a few days. Even if something is put temporarily on hold, there is no guarantee it won't get sold.
Q. Do you consign items for churches? A. No, consignment is not ideal for most situations. These hard to find items take a very long time sitting till the right church comes along. Often retailers will promise big money to sell the items in your church, and never deliver due to time constraints and a host of other reasons. Plus any potential customers would typically want direct access to the seller and/or item, which won't be permitted with a consignment.
Q. Do you buy religious articles? A. Yes, just snap a few pictures and email them to us -- our goal is to save these cherished items for other churches who need them. If you cannot find another parish to give them to, please consider us instead of abandoning or discarding the items - we'll find a proper home for them. We purchase singular items as well as a complete church including furniture, windows, bells, statues, etc.
Q. Do you accept trades? A. Sure, if you have some items no longer needed feel free to send us some photos.
Q. Can we expect privacy? A. Absolutely. Everything we do is strictly confidential. We have high profile clergy, celebrities, movie companies, architects, interior designers and organizations as friends and clients: we don't reveal personal information.
Q. Can you tell us the history of an item we purchase? A. Without an inscription or something its unfortunately impossible to know their history - my father has had most of these items for decades and many date in the early 1900s.
Q. What type of payment do you accept? A. Checks preferred, Money Orders, Wire Transfers. We can accept Paypal and Credit Card as well however reflect the surcharge.
