The stole is worn over a robe, alb, cassock, dalmatic or surplice which is covered by a chasuble.
Stoles are used by ordained Clergy, Deacons, Pastors, Priests and Ministers for Church services, weddings, confirmations, choir, and pastoral purposes. They are liturgical vestments that consist of a narrow band of cloth material, often silk, with colors used for specific Christian Liturgy or Season. They are usually decorated with embroidered designs like a cross, chi-rho, or other significant religious symbol, and are worn around the neck, often with lace or linen stitched in the back collar, and hang down parallel in front with ends either broadening or kept the same width.
If you don't see one that fits your needs, please feel free to contact us as we have a constant rotating stock and many are not listed.
